this week we have already started to see in increase in both new claims and new UC applications with a view to this increasing further over the coming weeks. I have therefore continued to work my normal hours but have also done overtime and will be working this weekend to try keep ontop of the workload at this difficult time

    I think there will be a sharp increase in HB (for those eligible) and CTR claims especially now the Chancellor has announced the support package for the self employed. Be prepared for a huge increase in claims as UC has already seen an unprecedented amount of claims in the last 3 weeks (over 517,000 new UC claims!).
